The focus of the evening is the new reconstruction of Johann Sebastian Bach's "St Luke Passion", which is absolutely equal in scope and quality to Bach's "St Matthew Passion" and "St John Passion" and will be performed for the first time under the direction of Hansjörg Albrecht on 12 March 2024 in a world premiere by the CPE Bach Choir Hamburg, the Dresden Festival Orchestra (with period instruments) and internationally renowned soloists.
